A Fruitful Conclusion to Angelika’s Visit to Mundgod

As Angelika’s visit to Mundgod came to a close, we had a warm and fruitful meeting with Khenpo Tenzin Wangchuck la, Chief Administrator Ven. Ngawang Lungtok la, Initiative Oberland members Ven. Nima Dorjee la and Ven. Jamyang Wangyal, and Angelika.

We discussed ways to continue supporting poor and needy people in our community, as well as the various projects and needs recently submitted to Initiative Oberland.

It was a meaningful discussion focused on priorities and finding practical ways to help those who need it most.

Wishing Angelika a safe journey home, and we look forward to continuing our close cooperation in the future.

Angelika and Alexander made a very special visit to our Monastery School, and it was heartwarming to see them spend time with our students and teachers. They enjoyed interacting with the children, listening to them, and sharing warm smiles and encouraging words.

They were genuinely happy and touched to see how much our students have grown and progressed. Their joy was clearly visible as they visited the classrooms and connected with the students and teachers.

Angelika and Alexander kindly encouraged our students to study well, work hard, and make the most of the opportunities they have. They also reminded them to take good care of their health and well-being, because a healthy body and a good education are both important for a happy and meaningful life.

For our students, meeting them was not only enjoyable but also deeply encouraging. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine interest in the children's lives mean a great deal to our monastery and school community.

We are truly grateful to Angelika, Alexander, and Initiative Oberland for their continued love, care, and support for our children. Your kindness inspires them to dream, learn, and grow with confidence.

Sakya Monastery hosted a special gathering in honor of Angelika and Alexander, bringing together our monks and monastery community for an evening of warmth, friendship, sweets, and refreshments.

During the gathering, the monastery presented gifts as a small token of our deep appreciation for Angelika, her family, and all the members of Initiative Oberland for their remarkable dedication and humanitarian service to poor and needy Tibetan people, especially the people of Mundgod, for the past 27 years.

Our monks offered heartfelt prayers for their long, healthy, and happy lives. We also expressed our sincere hope and encouragement that they may continue their noble humanitarian work and bring hope, support, and positive change to many more people in the years to come.

We are deeply grateful for the strong bond of friendship and compassion that has connected our monastery and the people of Mundgod with Angelika, her family, and Initiative Oberland for so many years.
